Team Designoholics
We are the Designoholics! Our
team has tree members Tasmia, Sabbir and Helinä. First, we would all like to
introduce ourselves. Here we go!
I am Sabbir. Studying UX as minor of my master’s degree. My hobbies are photography, Guitar, Vinyl DJ, hiking, skiing, karaoke etc. I have expertise in Adobe Lightroom, Premier pro, Just in mind, MATLAB etc. In my future I want to be an HCPD enthusiast.
Hey, This is Tasmia. Studying UX as a minor in TUT. I have expertise on prototyping, Designing, Usability evaluation, videography and video editing. Photography and traveling are my hobbies
Hi! I am Helinä. I study User Experience as my Major. Skills I bring to the team are my customer service expertise, knowledge of user experience and crafting stuff. I am a big science fiction fan and like both electronic games and more traditional board games.
Now that you know us, let’s get to our team goals which are:
- Top quality of work
- Equality on amount of work
- Shared responsibility and shared result
- Open communication and tight team support
- Deliver on time
We
discussed among ourselves about our own expertise so based on that we will
decide and divide the works and responsibilities. We have communications media
like WhatsApp and have the common workspace in Google Drive. Doing regular
meeting we will take the important decisions and solve the critical problems.
We will set a deadline of each assigned activities where we will evaluate each other’s work and comment on that and make changes if necessary, which will ensure the better quality of work. We will communicate with the team and discuss any problem during work to come up with better solution.
We are agreed on that face to face evaluation will be done each week of
our individual work. Before the lecture or workshop each of us will evaluate
(if needed) our own task by online (WhatsApp or Skype) and even face to face if
it is possible. We have come to a decision that each of us will do the same amount
of task and we will write down the taken time it took every time. And finally,
when the course work is done we will evaluate the working hours of each of us
and then decide the amount of point we are going to split.
To make sure our team works perfectly we game up with some team work guidelines work for our team:
- Set deadline before the official deadline
- Ask if don’t understand
- Be on time and keep you promise
- Let others know if you are not going to make it on time
- Motivate each other
- Throw all ideas on table
Best regards Tasmia, Sabbir and Helinä
